Hey all, long time no see. I am back from the pandemic with a new news segment. Each episode includes five Pokemon Trading Card Game LIVE codes, so it is first come, first served. When codes are not redeemed, as has been the case a few times, I just add them to the next episode. Go nuts!

But on a real note I don't get the UK's concern with the merger. Blizzard was already a multi million dollar company and a merger wouldn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things other than a few more exclusives for the Xbox. I get that the CMA is being cautious with the cloud gaming market (which Microsoft already has a large hold of thanks to gamepass so adding Activision's selections of games to it would make it incredibly ludicrous value) but I really don't see how this merger would hurt me, the consumer. Will it be like with how Netflix had literally everything back in the day? Because even with the titan that Netflix was, competition eventually rose up and new streaming platforms came to be.

I think it is entirely about price control. As it is, Microsoft controls 70 percent of cloud services in Europe. Frankly, that is already enough control for them to manipulate pricing and probably have done so.

The problem is, Amazon and Google are the only other two that could compete on Microsoft's level. They surely do here in North America. However, a 70 percent lead may be a bit difficult to overcome in a new territory.
