I thought I heard that as long as the picture was visible, you are allowed to draw on cards. I recolored the border of a common, and it looks really awesome, but is it legal?

Thanks!

I think it's legal, but don't take my word for it, I'm not sure. And even if it is, I really don't recommend that you draw on your cards, because: 1: It may look cool, but it reduces the poor cards condition. And 2: It just makes you look like a n00b.
Hope I helped!

You might get called on the border.
You can draw on the graphic of the card but you can't draw on the TEXT.
The reason you might get called on for your border is if you can see a discoloration in the edges of the card if you look at its profile.

You can draw a top hat and a cape on Baltoys. It's pretty awesome. =]

In the end, it all goes down to the head judge. I've seen head judges NOT allowing any drawings.

:[ Well that wasn't very nice.

I don't know I'll ask a judge at my next tournament...
Thanks for the help everyone! : D

Oh, no, I was being sarcastic, it's very artistic to draw on a collector's item!(real sarcasm)
But really, I didn't mean it like that, I was just trying to help, and if you really want to draw, you shouldn't draw on something meant to be kept in good condition and/or played with.

duuude, it's just a common, anybody thinking of it as noobish to corrupt a common, is a n00b on itself.

Anymore attacks at anyone, sarcastic or not, stop here.

Its up to the Head Judge as Lou said. End of thread, to prevent further attacks. :/
