Hey can we Mini-Mod our OWN thread????

And mini-modding is discouraged at any time in any forum, including your own. So don't do it. The moderators don't like it. If you see a problem, the best (and really, the only good) way to deal with it is to use the report button.
Man is it handy.
To answer your question, I'm going to say no, you can't, to be safe. Just don't do it. It's bad.

Yes, if you see a thread where something needs fixing then please report it using the report button.m0nster1nc said:You PM a mod. Or report with the message of "Please lock, *insert reason here*"

However, don't report the thread AND reply with a mini-mod style post. A few people tend to do that, including you m0nster1nc, so please don't. Reporting it is enough already, posting can make it worse.
What about a temp ban? (like X amout of hrs/days?)DocRobot_K-176 said:Are you talking about "shop" threads or of the sort?
Thread creators cannot mod their own thread. They can refuse to work for a member if they are being disrespectful (a member asking persistently for a trainer card and trying to rush the creator, for example). But they cannot delete posts or "ban" people from their thread. The whole idea is that if there is someone that is breaking the forum rules (trolling, spamming, etc), they should instead use the report button and have a staff member look at and possibly resolve the issue.
A thread creator can also PM a mod or report their own thread if they want it locked (depends on the situation; there must be a good reason for locking it).
