Discussion "Brilliant Stars" Partial Set List

What do we think the 6 FA Trainers are now?

In a 100 card set, JP has now put in up to 4 trainers - Kindler, Cheren, Cynthia and Roseanne would be those.

So the two leftover would be? Barry and Marnie's Pride? That would keep all the VMAX Climax FA Trainers together if they will ever come out in English. Makes more sense than breaking them up and only including Barry.

If English is to have a special set, there are already loads of reprints they can throw in to make it more worthwhile than Champion's Path, which is a pretty awful set. Wasn't around then, but they created a set just to throw in 2 Charizards? Talk about wasteful. The least they could have done was add in all those missing trainers and other special cards from Tag Team All Stars.

I have a feeling they might not bring any of them over from VMAX Climax...

@JustInBasil Galarian Mr Rime V should be in because there won't be 20 V cards without its inclusion.
 
Do all gym promos make it over?

Since many of them are reprints and the Krokorok from Gym Promo Card Pack 4 from Sep-Dec 2020 hasn't come out, I am assuming the answer is no.
 
Mimikyu V CSR has leaked as TG16/TG30.

So it'll be a hodgepodge of cards that will make their way into Brilliant Stars then since we know Urshifu is TG30.

Kinda disappointing really. Further reinforces English/international's lack of identity for each set.

A misprinted Trevenant V from Evolving Skies on Reddit has Granbull V text on it. Number showing as #57 which means one of those cards in bold is not in the set. Probably will be one of the VMAX Climax cards.

I thought Lumineon V was 40 not 41? At least I have it as 40 on my list, and so does Rhyperior

Looks like #57. Not sure which card will drop out because another card from somewhere will then be added in between Granbull and Arceus.

We already know that Lumineon V is #40, so it looks like Mr. Rime V is out. Not sure what that means for Dry Seasoned Curry. It could still make it if Rime V becomes a promo card (most likely SWSH193), though Raikou V could be cut instead and take that promo spot.

I think its replacement will be the Oricorio promo.

Recently confirmed card numbers:
#49 - Shinx
#90 - Purrloin
#92 - Impidimp

There's also a very good chance that Cleansing Gloves is 136, but its number is difficult to make out.

That don't make sense. Ommiting Rime makes it 19 Vs in this set from the said 20

Where are you guys getting all these confirmed #s? Lumineon V, Farfetch'd and others. From streamers?

I couldn't make out any card numbers from the QuePasaJose stream.

Hmm...I hope these are still as easy to pull as the CE CHR, but given they've put in CSR, FA Trainers and Gold Cards in the subset now...

Ugh. TPCI don't drop the ball.

edit: How did the pull rates work for Shining and Hidden Fates?

Another leak - TG03 is Octillery, so loads were cut. I'm thinking Flareon, Vaporeon and Charizard for sure.

Probably Kingdra too? Or maybe Flapple for some Galar set later on with Milo.

Also another picture on Reddit is showing what looks like the pack artwork for the next set (FFS!). It's called 'Astral Radiance' and features Pokemon from PLA specifically:
Palkia form, H-Decidueye, H-Typhlosion and maybe Dialga form. Poor Samurott lol.

Which means that the April set for Japan (unless this is like way way in advance) is based off of PLA instead of BDSP.

Does that mean...Gen 9 in November?? Because why would they skip BDSP completely...even Star Birth ties in more with PLA (Arceus) than BDSP.
