Books are my bet. I hardly watch TV except for MasterChef and cooking programs lol. I find books very interesting and inspiring.
 
books are usually better story-wise, and you dont have to worry about all those damn reruns, but i find tv more entertaining because you can see and hear it
 
Hmm, I'm gonna have to go with TV. I mean, when I get into a book, I like visualizing and imagining what I perceive characters and places to be, but I do enjoy having something already "planned" and I think I'm more of a TV guy anyway. If I had a choice between reading the book or watching the movie, I'd choose option 2. :p

I like to watch TV and read a book. Whenever I am bored and have nothing to do and nothing is coming on TV as well and I have a good book to read then I just start reading. Reading a book actually makes me feel like I am there. I like to imagine how the character feels in the certain position he/she is in and what options they have. Once I read a bit of a book then I see what is coming on TV. TV is also great to watch things when something interesting is coming on. If something interesting or cool is coming on then I just start watching it and leave the book alone until nothing comes on TV or just whenever I feel like reading a book.

Overall if there is nothing to watch on TV like no interesting shows then I just grab a book and read a lot of pages. If something interesting is coming on TV then I just watch it for a while and then probably grab a book and start reading it. I like to do both, but have different times for both of them.
 
Did Chiraami say he would rather read a book than watch TV? How does he explain asking if he can watch home shows all the time?
 
definatley books. There's way more good books than there is good shows, and more often than not, the book ia better than the movie. The books let you imagine the scene yourself, unlike T.V, where the makers of the show have already planned everything out. There's no imaginative value in T.V. Well, i do like video games, but that's another matter. So... if you want to sit at a T.V all day, eating chips and, going blind be my guest. But don't forget to get out sometime.

I'm more of a gamer than a reader or TV junkie, but I do value a good book much more than anything on television. There will be times when I'll really be in a reading mood, and read several books in a week or so. Though I am a sucker for fanfiction...I'll pretend that that counts, for now. TV for me is background noise, mostly...but I do like some shows. Like I said, though...a good game beats 'em both!
 
TV is very boring. After the original Yu-Gi-Oh went off the air, i had only watched Avatar: The Last Airbender. Then it ended, and so did I. I gave my TV to my brother. Now Xbox controls my life, but i still like reading anime.
 
TV for me.. even though I don't watch it much anymore. I've never been much of a reader so that's probably why.
