Strategy:

Setup Blaziken with the Blacksmith engine and DCE attachments, Trevenant EX is my counter to Seismitoad EX using Wood Blast for 100 with a DCE and 1 Fire unless If my opponent gets Enhanced Hammer off early game or switches into Plasma Flareon for Vengeance. Jirachi EX is for Stellar Guidance to get the Supporters I need although it might not see as much play If Silent Lab becomes a staple card in every deck.

I think you are putting alittle to much faith into maxie. I would lower the Maxies hidden trick line to 2 and lysandre down to 2 and drop the rare candy to 3 add in 3 professor Juniper/ Sycomore just so you can get more draw support into the deck. Other than that I like the idea.

Hi Card Slinger,

Remove Maxies Hidden trick since he can only retrieve Fighting Pokémon but not Fire Pokémon and your list does not seem to contain any Fighting Pokémon. You can see the energy symbol in the card as a reference.

Maxie does not work with Blaziken but he could be nice with machamp and even Mega Groundon Ex in a deck that can play down its hand and get the Mega evolution in the discard. The same holds for Archie's Trump Card and Mega Kyogre Ex.

I misread the translation so I'll throw back in Sycamore in place of Maxie's Hidden Trick. At least Scorching Earth still works with Fire not just Fighting.
