Guiding questions:
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
5. How's the artwork?

Posts MUST be several sentences long with proper grammar and spelling or they will be deleted - this forum is to discuss specific cards so other people can learn about their potential in the current metagame.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?

Pretty good, but it needs back-up. It is really a good pokemon. It is actually played by a lot of people.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?

Blazechomp.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?

Blaziken PL to burned and do more damage. All SPs stuff. maybe Heatran.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

I will give a 4.5 because of his retreat, his attack that will get really bad on opponent turn. Everything is just awsome. You can do more than 120 and burn just with one energie.

5. How's the artwork?

Perfect, that is the spirit of fire.

yes first time first!

1. A very good card. I wish the increased damage on your oponett's turn didn't occurr, though.
2. BlazeChomp, of course.
3. Anyone who can burn and anyone who reduces damage done to your pokemon by attacks would be great with this card.
4.4.5-5.0. It's a difficult card, with the increase in damage done to it, but it's move being able to do 140 damage (expert belt, burning spirit), it is also very well for scoring a knockout.
5.5. Love all Lv.X art, but this card most definitley shows it's "burning spirit".

1. A great card in any sp deck that can afford to run it. With the metagame the way it is, this card is seeing alot of field time.

2.The metadecks are almost all sp decks. Dialgachomp can take advantage of using it in the mirror match for wiping out a fully loaded Dialga in one fell swoop. I personally run it in luxchomp for matches against dialga, scizor, and vileplume.

3.Just the fact of being able to bring up an opponents pokemon is a great combo with sp and antilocking decks. Then with burn do more damage to that pokemon. Can work with the other blaziken that burns for the power.

4. 4.75 is my verdict. 80 for a {R} and a gain. Sweet for a quick punch. Yet the side effect of being hit for 40 more lets this card rating suffer .25. Body is unique if that situation comes into play(i have not :() But one thing that i can not stand is the retreat cost. It can cost heavily in a match. Infernape's is free so why not this bird look alike? Come on nintendo.

5. How's the artwork?..What is this bird? Bruce Lee? Think your the next karate kid ,hmm Jaden smith .Then i am Mr. Miyagi. No way, not happening. Not now, not ever... It's cool like most of the X's art style. Round house kick to the face!

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
It needs some backing, it's great on par with luxray and garchomp, it's worth being played. It toped six times at my BRs winning once and getting second 3 times.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
BlazeChomp, Blaziken FB/PL.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Other than chomp and the other Blaziken, I've played a fun deck with cherims both PA and SF. With SF cherrim you have the potential to do 180 with jet shoot and vapor kick can do some decent damage. With Cherrim PA you basically have 4 special metals and with e-belt and snowpoint temple you have 150 hp.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
Luring flame is sweet, jet shoot is nice, has a good body but, 4.5/5 due to the draw back of jet shoot.

5. How's the artwork?
I like it chicken legs forever.

Not another LV.X ._.
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
On its own, the card is a serious headache for your opponents. 110 HP is average for an SP LV.X, and Jet Shoot is an incredible amount of damage for just 1 {R} Energy with E-Gain. Unfortunately the drawback makes it unwise to repeatedly use it. The X2 Weakness to Water is a pain, but not unreasonable. But its Retreat Cost is crazy. Free Retreat would make much more sense here. Burning Spirit doesn't do anything without support or Blaziken FB. A good, quick card to spring on you unexpecting opponents and make a quick 80, but not built for constantly damaging.
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
SP's, really. Notably Blazeray and Blazechomp.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Anything that burns could help pile on 40 more damage. Heatran X would make a max of 160 damage for a single Energy, not counting weakness. Cherrim SF would make it do even more damage and Cherrim AR would help it take hits better.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5. Quick, cheap Energy cost, and can do 100 for 1 without any support needed. Unfortunately its rather frail and Gyarados laughs in its face.
5. How's the artwork?
4/5. Really looks like its ready to leap out of the card and give you a roundhouse kick, but seems a tad too...what's the word...Kung-Fu-ish?

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?

Straight Blaziken isn't a good deck, but it is comboed in many other decks such as a tech in Charizard or Blazechomp. I myself play Blazechomp and IMO it is just as good as Luxchomp if not better. Now I'm not trying to start something, but Blazechomp really is the underrated deck of the season.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?

The main one as of now is Blazeray. Also used in Charizard, Blazechomp, and decks that need more reinforcement against Vileplume.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?

Blazeray (Blaziken FB Luxray GL) can be used for endless disruption, and is able to pull up anything you can. Blazechomp is a straight beatdown deck, and can be a force to be reckoned with.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4.5/5 out of 5. Why? Because it's very underrated, it's attack does a whole 80 damage even if there is a drawback. It knocks out most basic SPs, and really really is good.

5. How's the artwork?
Pretty cool actually. I like how basic Blaziken is cartoony, and this is more realistic.
