Dancing Turtle
So, first of all, this is pretty much the first deck I've been able to build that is somewhat competitive, so I expect a ton of things needing fixing in here, particularly in the trainer area.
21 Pokemon
4-2-4 Blastoise UL
1-1-1 Politoed UL
2-1-2 Feraligatr Prime HGSS
3 Cleffa HGSS/COL
19 Energy
3 Double Colorless
14 Water Energy
20 Trainer/Supporter/Tools/Stadium
1 Dual Ball HGSS
1 Junk Arm TR
4 Rare Candy UL
1 Pokemon Communication HGSS
2 Team Rocket’s Trickery UD
1 Professor Oak’s New Theory HGSS
1 Seeker TR
1 Emcee’s Chatter UL
3 Sage’s Training UL
2 Professor Elm’s Training HGSS
2 Interviewer’s Questions UL
1 Pokemon Collector HGSS
The basic idea of this deck is to start with Cleffa and set up a Blastoise ASAP either with full water or a DCE. I tend to get one out turn 2. The Politoed might seem out of place, but I like the ability to quickly get a Blastoise active without needing to wait for the Cleffa to wake up (if it’s asleep) or to easily retreat an injured Blastoise and Seeker it up. Politoed also offers decent damage that caps at 180 for 2 energy (360 with weakness). Feraligatr is obviously there for Rain Dancing. And that covers the Pokemon.
In the trainer section, I am pretty much all over the place because I don’t really know what to run for the most consistent draw power and best searching, so please give me all the advice you can.
Thanks!
