1) Say I had an Ampharos (d) from DF on my bench, a root fossil active, and holon lake out, could root fossil use delta call? It says it has no attacks of its own, but holon lake is not its attack, but anyone's.

2) Say I had an ampharos (the same one) out, holon lake in play, and some random pokemon active. Could the random pokemon use delta call to get a fossil? I don't think that it could, but I may be wrong...

2) No, Fossil is a trainer card.

1) Yes. It has no attacks of its own, but holon lake isn't on the card (similar to the mew ruling with lake)
2) No, its a trainer in the deck.

1.Yes,it can use delta call.
2.No its not a pokemon unless its in play.
