Absol Prime and Gengar Spread?

Use Absol Prime to put damage counters on benched Pokemon while making cheap KO's with it and Cursegar (You'd use Cursegars attack to switch with Absol). Then level up into Gengar X for damage spread.

Would Sableye or Spiritomb make a better starter?

I'd say Spiritomb, since you want to evolve and possibly trainer-lock (wouldn't hurt).
The problem is that Absol only has 80 HP, making it really easy to KO. That could be a problem.

i built a deck with absol prime as the starter with miasma and then used gengar sf. i used lunarock combo to prevent healing aswell. works well actually. i added call energy to get my bench set up and evoluters to evolve gengar but they're not entirely needed. its actually pretty quick. with call/collectors/communication/bebe/uxie not too hard to set up your bench and start sniping
