{D}{C}{C} Doom News - Return all Energy cards attached to Absol G to your hand. The Defending Pokemon is Knocked out at the end of your opponents next turn.



My questions is, if your opponent retreats, or changes pokemon in any way, is the new defending pokemon knocked out? Or the one who was defending while Doom News was played? Thanks so much for any help here.

The new Pokemon will not be knocked out because the effect is placed on the defending Pokemon. When you retreat,evolve, or level up, that removes all effects and special conditions. So neither would get knocked out if the defending Pokemon retreated.~Mark
