Hi WPM!!!!
How many cards do you have?
How do you get cards? Do you buy packs just like us or do you have a special deal because you're the press???
 
He can technically get press benefits if his site is significant enough (and it is, and it has) so he gets some run-of-the mill info from POP every now and then, just press-releases and stuff. He also can apparently get special press passes to certain events, but has yet to (as far as I know)

other than that, he's a normal person. I'd have figured his mentions of school, and laptop woes in the updates were a hint.
