As you may or may not know, I recently passed 10,000 posts. This means absolutely nothing, but PMJ and Heavenly Spoon just love to make a big deal out of it. So I come here to bring you this truely epic post. Sit back and enjoy. :O I wouldn't know, but when PB was still a spec of dust (okay, maybe bigger at that point
), everyone was trying to be the top poster. Jade and everyone were competing to see who could get to 1,000 posts first.
Then a year and a half later comes me. I sign up and post a lot. The Sinnoh League is really what got my post count up. Even though Heavenly Spoon, "DENNIES IT," I haven't been posting nearly as much these days. So what do I credit this huge milestone to? Yes, I do have most of my posts in the Sinnoh League, but I also have a lot in Navel Rock (formerly known as Team Eclipse and The Sinnoh Society). I consider the clan to be a spin-off of the league.
It's not only those two places, though. Look at the whole Battle Arena. I've hosted three torunaments, two of them being official. I'm directing my fourth forum war against Marriland now. In combination with posting about miscellaneous topics and locking and moving threads, that's where all the posts have come from. My posts generally aren't spam, though. I bet if we had a word counter, I would be averaging over 40 or 50 words per post.
I'd like to dedicate the last part of this post to a few people:
Spoon: WII R PARTNRZ IN CRIME!! lol You never knew me when I was new, which is a good thing because you think I'm a n00b and stuff. You need to realize that I've been a member for over a year, though. In that one thread you were like, "KG wasn't even around then." I was so. :[
PMJ: He's pimpin'. :O I used to PM him about things to make sure it was in line with the rules. He answered pretty much all of them, which is pretty cool. The good ol' days were fun. :]
bacon: I remember when you were first modded. I think that was one of my first weeks being here. Then when you posted in the Sinnoh League, I was like, "ZOMG BACON POSTED HERE!!" lol You have always been cool and insightful with strategy. You helped me to learn basic double battling strategies. :]
WPM: Thanks for giving me the chance to be a part of the staff here. People always ask me why I joined here in the first place. I usually think about it for a minute and don't come up with an answer. Then I realize that you advertised the Wi-Fi League and that's when I joined. I never played competitive Pokemon before DP, so I liked the friendly atmosphere. ^_^
AntiKrozz, EM, Togeshroob: The old Sinnoh gang. It's nice to see you are still around. Miles, EIJI, and Vareth left, so I guess we are the lone wolves. We've always had fun battles in the past and will continue to have fun battles. ;D
Pulse: I was like, "ZOMG NO WAI," when I found out you were x_Ace_x and Xenaz, but it kind of made sense. Not everyone sees you as being a PokeBeach veteran, but that's because you had a short hiatus after you needed a new DS. You got me pretty far with battling too. I used to consider myself a n00b only during my first few months. But since I learned a lot from you, I consider anything before that my n00b days. XD
Experts: Sorry I'm grouping you together, but I've only known some of you for a short time now. I'm impressed with the work that you do and the skills you have. I seriously need to get better if I'm going to beat some of you.
Doc: You always have a good way of putting things. Whenever there is a problem, you are the go-to-guy. You always seem to have a solution for something. Oddly enough, I didn't start to know you until after I became a mod.
Noobnerd: Thanks for being a n00b.
...
Just kidding. I would put something serious and stuff, but that would kill that joke. XP
I could have something to say to everyone, but I don't want to stretch the page with the first post. Here's to 10,000 more posts!
