Alright, I've seen 1-2 threads about how to spend the holidays on Pokebeach. Now, I have my own idea, but let me tell you what I feel about this in the grand scheme of things...
For one, with many holidays coming this month (Christmas... Hannukah... etc), there's hardly any time to be on the computer. Wouldn't you guys rather spend time with your family, who know you instead of people online who don't know you? Let's face it, the holiday season is about family. One minute they're all there, and the next, they're gone or you're moving out or you're argueing or whatever. The point is, cherish the time you have with them during the holidays. Its funny, really. My principal/guardian told me about this little boy named Charles a few years back. Now, his parents JUST died of aids in 04', and he had to life with his grandmother. So, for the past 2 or so years, me and my mother have been sending Charles my old gameboy and gemes to his grandmother's house (he USED to live under a bridge). Anyway, about 1 week ago, his grandmother suffered a heart attack, and died right in front of him. So, for Christmas, hes spending it, well, alone in his Uncle's house. So, I'm giving him my PS2, a TV, a computer, $100.00, and 10 PS2 games for him to, well, just forget about the people of his who died. The point of this is, celebrate Christmas or whatever holiday while you can, because all Charles wants is his Mom, Dad, and grandmother.
ANYWHO, here's my idea-
Ok, so I have 2 ideas-
1: C'mon... we didn't get a Halloween/Thanksgiving banner! Let's have a Christmas one, eh?
2: Alright, we all feel a "connection" so to speak with each other, right? So, I think a nice way to celebrate this holiday is to, whenever you see a thread asking a question and its someone you know (or don't know), or they're asking for someone to rate something or whatever, answer it. Not just "yes" or "no". Really answer it. Answering a question is one of the, while it isn't much, nicest things to do. Or rate a deck or fix it, or do the same to a team. This holiday, pitch in on every thread YOU KNOW YOU CAN ANSWER. And don't spam it up, answer dignafied, and not just for the holidays. Try it all year round'. I mean, tis' better to give than receive
Well? Yes or no? Comment on the first couple paragraphs if you want as well.
