A couple of questions regarding the EX series sets

I have recently taken an interest in collecting and (hopefully) completing an EX set. However, since I was a very casual collector/player when the EX series ended, (and as such my knowledge of the series is lacking) I have a couple of questions regarding the series in general;

1) What are the ratios of Pokemon EX and Pokemon Star cards? How many could I expect to pull in a box? (Regarding the set, I am mainly interested in the late EX sets (Delta Species - Dragon Frontiers))

2) Where might I be able to find reasonably-priced packs and boxes of some of the later EX sets? I have tried looking around a few online stores and on EBay, but I haven't seen anything too appealing.

I believe "star" cards were like 1 in 3 box average.
ex cards you could expect 4-5 in a booster box.

My numbers may be off a little, it has been a while.

Gold star cards are one in every three boxes.
I've heard EX cards are twp to three in a box. I could be wrong. I've opened at least 72 EX series packs and pulled only five EX cards in all.

Yeah, gold stars are 1 in 3 boxes.

EX's vary based on the set you buy. IIRC, some of them you can get 4 ex's and some you could get 2-3.
