hey guys in your opions what are the best five cards in diamond and pearl secret wonders?(note:this does not include lv.xs).

In no particular order:
Absol - Brilliant starter, cripples your opponent's set up.
Gallade - TWO great attacks.
Gardevoir - Insane PokePower, allows you to break the 'one supporter' rule.
Roseanne's Research - Mr Stone and Holon Mentor (almost) in the same card.
Team Galactic's Mars - helps you, hurts your opponent and makes Hand Destruction a viable deck type.
Runners-up would include: Professor Oak's Visit, Ampharos, Plusle, and Weavile. All of these could be used in competitive decks.

Ok, in that case:
1. Absol
2. Gardevoir
3. Gallade
4. Banette
5. Ampharos
I left off Plusle as it is more of a tech, and Magmortar as it really needs the LV. X. to be truly effective. There are so many good Pokemon in this set. I could have easily included Stantler, Arcanine, Furret, and Weavile. Other deck-worthy Pokemon include Spinda, Smeargle, Electrode and Breloom. Heck, even the Charizard is playable!

1. Absol-one of the best starters in the format.
2. Banette-The ability to do 70 for nothing.....wow.
3. Gallade-I hate this dang card.
4. Ampharos-Great with Dragonite EX d.
5. Furret- a great tech.

2. Absol-Disruption so early
3. Electrode-Close to broken, trust me.
4. Roseanne's-Easily replaces stone's in a deck and possibly mentor (My personal favorite: Holon's Castform and an energy)

3.Furret-search for 2 cards frm deck for no energy??and can pass energies down?excellent
4.TGM-Drawing and Distruption=good
5.Absol-Super distruption..awesome starter

1. Gallade - Great card, can OHKO each poke
2. Gardevoir / Lv.X - Cause the Gallade deck, and they are Awesome
3. Absol - The best starter ever, but not in each deck
4. Burmy' ^^ - They have all a great chance to be in a powerfull deck
5. Ampharos - Has a nice poke-body and a great attack
1. Gallade - Great card, can OHKO each poke
2. Gardevoir / Lv.X - Cause the Gallade deck, and they are Awesome
3. Absol - The best starter ever, but not in each deck
4. Burmy' ^^ - They have all a great chance to be in a powerfull deck
5. Ampharos - Has a nice poke-body and a great attack

Agree with everything here & would only add Magmortar in serious runner up category. SW had a LOT of good cards.

3 Absol (Overrated IMO... Its decent but fails to rilou)
4. Flygon + Vibrava SW (Mix those with FlEX and you have a awesome damage spreading deck that hits both Blissy and Gardys Weaknesses.)
5. Electivire (Horrible attack but a pretty awesome power. Give Vire players some new teching options.)
