Wow, that is awesome, can't wait to get it, looks like Pokemon is improving the quality of the worlds deck too.
 
Hmm. Would have been even better if the playmat wasn't made out of that cheap paper and was made on a more durable material, but oh well.
 
Does anybody know if the Pikachu cards have the American/European card back? I know the original had all Japanese backs...
 
I'm glad were are getting the Pikachu world promo cards. There were actually some people that didn't think we were going to get these cards.
To me it seems like TPCi is mainly focused on promoting the TCG for the holidays.

These look pretty cool. I really just want the Pikachus for collection purposes, but I guess the WC deck is nice for proxies. I'd of preferred packs or more useful merchandice instead of the other extras, but I will still buy it.

The wheel spinny thing looks cool too :D
 
Wow this has to be the biggest Pikachu set since the promo Pikachu set came out when Wizards of the Coast was handling the cards. I was hoping they would re-release some of the cards from Wizards but oh well XD.:)
 
So are the pikachu legal? The set looks really nice i might buy it. The playmat is a bit dissapointing but oh well. I agree with teeboy23

I'm guessing all these recent TCG products that I mentioned in my last post before this are our Substitutes for us getting more tins next month.
 
well I'm just glad I bought a few sets when they were japanese only. Bought them for 20 a piece, and sold them at 35 a piece. So I'm glad I acted earlier. Otherwise its nice for collectors, but as for competitive players, it serves no purpose.
 
I have a feeling these cards will be quite the collector's items in the future...
 
More than likely, but can we really tell if it would be worth the investment for the future time? Not really. and with the economy the way it is, and with the holidays approaching fast, its harder to find room to squeeze a buy like that into the budget.
 
This is a really nice collection that I'm glad was still brought over. Sweetening the deal with a mat and a deck makes it worth it IMO, from a collector standpoint.
