This is somewhat of a disappointment. A broken Gengar, but nothing else too extrodinary that we didn't already know. (Though the Porygon-Z G is cool)

Gengar Lv.X is cool and artwork for some of these are amazing.

I'm a Gengar player and even I think it's broken. Not only does he get 30 extra HP but removing a lvl X? Gosh what were they thinking. Now EVERYONE is going to play Gengar. The only good part about the X is that they have to run one less normal Gengar.

The shinies don't look shiny.... The Gengar's artwork rocks! But otherwise, every thing kinda seems blah so far. It's sad though, this is the first DPt set with 4 Lv.X's . And I almost bought a booster box of this! Sad.

EDIT: Just realized this isn't every thing so far. Go 5th LV.X!!! It's either goingto be Entei or Hitmonchan, that's my guesses.

Keep in mind that we are rushing like crazy to get everything up and that there are bound to be errors until everything is thrown up. Once all of them are posted, we're going to go back and fix the images, translations, etc.

Great, they just HAD to make Gengar Lv.X broken. Goodbye any decks using Lv.Xs....

Time for my trimonthly analyzation.

Wait, only 4 Lv.Xs in the main set? That sucks. And only 2 are good.

Speaking of good Lv.Xs, I'd say that Gengar Lv.X is one of the(if not, THE) best Lv.X we have so far.

These new tools are epic. Lucky Egg can make yor opponent think twice before knocking out a Pokemon. Expert Belt can easily turn a 2HKO into a OHKO. And Bench Shield protects your benched stuff from snipers and Gengar Lv.X.

Heh, the Wormadams and Mothim are pretty cool. I see a new rogue coming.

Spiritomb is just awesome. Nobody can play down their Rare Candy, while you can just evolve manually with Dark Grace.

Porygon-Z G is pretty interesting, being able to recycle Energy Gains, Expert Belts, and Lucky Eggs and all that.

The fossil Pokemon might make a decent rogue. Aerodactyl to get the fossils, Kabutops to discard them for heavy damage, and Omastar to deal damage late-game.

I guess they screwed up a bunch of holos in this set. I mean, really. Swalot and Mothim as holos? Really?

Oooh, Luxray is interesting. With Expert Belt, you're looking at 120 damage for 3 energy. And if Luxray is knocked out, your opponent won't draw an extra prize because the Expert Belt isn't on Luxray. I see a new rogue, possibly a competitively viable deck.

Zapdos G was disappointing. Oh well. At least it has good artwork.

I really like how Froslass and Glalie work together.

With Expert Belt and a couple PP's, Beedrill G could donk.


That's all I noticed so far. Overall, a very good and interesting set. The only problem is that Gengar will be incredibly broken thanks to the new Lv.X.

I love this set.

Did anybody else think of Wailord GE when they saw Expert Belt? Cuz I sure did.

And the synergy between the SF and AoA Cherrims.
