‘Pokemon TCG: Battle Academy 2’ Launching Next Year!

[Water Pokémon Master]

An updated version of the Pokemon TCG Battle Academy will launch next year! Its release date is currently unknown.

This time, its three 60-card decks will feature Pikachu V, Eevee V, and Cinderace V. They are all reprints.

Like the last Battle Academy, it will come with a gameboard, three deck boxes, a guide, a rulebook, an oversized coin, damage counters, and a Pokemon TCG Live code card. It should retail for $19.99.

This looks pretty similar to our previous battle Academy, though I had hoped it might have a Vstar in it to teach the new mechanic. I suppose V cards are actually new though, since the previous one had GX cards.

Can't wait! Loved the first Battle Academy, was a great way to learn the basics. If the themes continue with them, eventually we will have covered other future mechanics IMO.

Hard cardboard.
Kinda sucks, they could at least include a double-sized mat, which they send to stores anyway. That'd be actually some unique value outside of trash cards.
