RE: The ''How much is a card worth?'' topic.
How much is a reasonable amount to be paying for the two Poképark Nagoya binders together?
Also, how much could I expect to pay for the 10th Movie Commemoration binder?

Only the mail in promo cards (Machamp, Gengar, Alakazam, Omastar, and Golem) are holographic, and you cannot find them in vending sheets. You would have to buy them separately. The cards on the sheets, though, are glossy.

Nah, I don't think most do. And you know what? It doesn't bother me if some 8 or 9 year old kid can't rattle off x number of Pokemon from generation 1-3 (or whatever).
My boyfriend's 9 year old little brother plays 4th and 5th generation games exclusively because that's what he knows. I think...
Hi, all. I have 9 sheets from the Vending series 2 and 9 sheets from Vending series 3 that I got a few years ago- back before I was really into collecting stuff. I peeled them all (including the damage counters- why god did i do that...stupid 15 year old me)
I've been contemplating getting...

Viper.Fox- !!!!!!!
Congratulations! That is absolutely, absolutely amazing. Just about the most awesome cards in the world (IMO next to Illustrator Pikachu)
I'm not going to ask how much you paid for them, but...
:< It makes me so sad.
And back when WoTC handled things, those cards did seem to be of a higher quality.
But I have a few TPCI promo cards that have held up fine over time, which is very odd indeed.

RS actually came out in Japan in Nov. 2002. :3
Late 2012...I'd think that would seem about right. I'm wondering when Nintendo'll announce a third version for BW, though.
They're technically illegal where I live, but nobody really cares about that. This year, though, because where I live is suffering from a severe drought, they took the ban seriously.
Otherwise, my entire city would probably be nothing but ashes.

I'm a college student. I'm looking to someday go to graduate school, as well. I realize the only way to do what I want (working as a counselor/therapist) requires higher education.
That said, college is not for everyone, nor should it be pushed on everyone. I hate so much that schools are...
I bought two packs of the English BW set, and within a few days, my holo Emboar I pulled is already showing scratching on the edges where I can see the holo through the top layers- and it's sleeved and behind a binder page- I didn't handle it much at all.
TPCI, I am disappoint.

That's kind of what makes Kanto unique- it's the first region, and has appeared in every generation so far.
It would not surprise me if they somehow incorporated it into 5th gen.

He does have some pretty awesome cards, though. He has a few sets that I've wanted forever, but at this point in time, have no money for. :(
But yeah...some of the prices are pretty steep
.:genetbox:.
Oh I have no doubt that it's not going to sell for that.
I'd think it'd be more likely to sell if it were under $20k. Though I guess it's all about what it's worth...I personally wouldn't pay more than like $10k for a single card in a million years.
@Sheer Force- Yeah, is it really worth that much? I know there are 6 in the whole world, but...my goodness...that's like as much as a house.

Wow, lucky!
I've found the complete Meiji 1998 set on eBay, which is easily one of my favorite card sets of all time. I remember falling in love with it when I was about 7 when I saw it in a magazine, and to own it was sort of a childhood dream, haha.
I also found the 1997 Carddass set...
Hi everyone!
I love the non-TCG cards, like the Japanese Cardass or Meiji cards, and the English Topps cards.
Are there some good websites where I could buy these cards? And does anyone know if Meiji or Cardass are going to be coming out with cards for the BW generation, and if so, where...
