I think the liberating thing is kind of true, but I don't think the pokemon would support it. Why would the game ask us to do something that would just make our pokemon unhappy? I think pokemon are happier being with humans and wouldn't like to be separated from them.

Obviously, it's set in Timbuktu, so everyone should just get on board. But seriously, I don't care where it's set as long as the game still has a genuine pokemon experience. I think America would still be a great place for it to be set. As has been said many times before, we should just wait...
