If there was a situation like that it still wouldn't work since Pikachu touched an Everstone which means it can never evolve just like how Dawn gave Piplup an Everstone when it was struggling to stop evolving, Pikachu doesn't want to evolve because he will forget his memories with Ash as a Pikachu!
