There seems to be some confusion about why these are E block. It’s as simple as this: sets released in 2021 are block E, and sets in 2022 are block F. Japan typically rotates in January, so makes a bit more sense there.

This right here. Pokémon does not delay games unless something is broken to the point they literally can’t release it. I imagine the higher-ups aren’t too happy that they’ll now have Live codes in packs, but no Live client. Not great publicity.

Removing trading definitely isn’t the only way to go about it. I mentioned an option or two in my reply to Diego. Unless IAPs make an appearance in Live, I doubt much will change. I imagine Direwolf’s budget for PTCGO is pretty small compared to the games they actually make money off of.
