'Charisma of the Wrecked Sky,' Japan's SM7 Set Announced!

I know they've changed up Rayquaza's energy costs before but I am actually devastated Rayquaza GX is dumping Fire in favor of Grass energy... I wouldn't have minded all colorless but I guess I've been so attached to the Fire Lightning energy cost on my favorite legendary it's kinda hard to...

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

Soon you'll have to update your spreadsheet again since Mega Sharpedo and Mega Camerupt just got cards yay! :D I'm really hoping the other Megas will get cards soon because if they don't they likely never will since the TCG has moved on to GX'es. I was just thinking about the neglected...

    Why make unplayable cards?

Well, personally I think there are 2 main reasons: 1. The really obvious one is that they need to make some money, so they print some useless cards for you to get so that you will rarely get the cards you need which are useful and that'll make you buy more packs. 2. There are a lot of...

    Pokemon Praying Mantis Pokemon

I just saw a documentary on praying mantis and I thought, hey why isn't there a praying mantis Pokemon? I think a bug/fighting type praying mantis Pokemon would be an awesome idea. What do you guys think?

    Samurott from Black & White (#32) [5/9]

    1. Analyze the stats of the card (HP, Weakness, Resistance, Retreat cost). On first look, 140hp, 2x weakness against electric can be bad, no resistance, retreat cost of 2 ain't too bad, its possible that you might still find retreating worthwhile in some situations. 2. Analyze the attacks...

Professor Oak's New Theory from Call of Legends (#83) [4/22]

    1. Decent Supporter Card, can get you out of bad situations. This card is worth playing in high level tournaments. 2. Don't think this card fits into any particular strategy, but it is a usable Supporter Card overall. 3. Anything which lets you empty your hand. 4. 3/5 Its a generally usable...

    (1) Some DPt Entry Pack Translations [10/5]

Torterra is awesome, I think its better than Leafeon Lv.X, I never really liked the idea of running Leafeon Lv. X as it is hard to even run 2 of those. But I think once Torterra is out, playing Leafeon/Sceptile/Torterra might work.

How many basics do you have in your deck?

Usually people play more basics if they are using a more complicated strategy which requires more time to set-up, but that doesn't mean its always slow but I think its generally slower than those who play say 6-8 basics. Otherwise, having more basics could also mean a lot of teching, and that...

How many basics do you have in your deck?

I only play T2 and T3 decks now. I haven't found any decks that can be effective while being useless in turns 2 and 3. With the speed of the current metagame, taking too long to set-up will guarantee defeat against competitive players so I'm not surprised people play less basics nowadays...

How many basics do you have in your deck?

Seems like most people play 11 as of now. I have not played that many basics since the ex-series.

How many basics do you have in your deck?

Hmmm, 2 decks with only 4 basics. This is interesting, you should have quite a lot of trouble pulling out a basic on your first turn. Do you win often by playing 4 basics?

    Ruling New area: Lost Zone

I don't think that matters much, Yu-Gi-Oh players would be familiar with this concept, I think its similar to 'remove the card from play' in Yu-Gi-Oh only its called a more classy 'Lost Zone'. Perhaps there may be more cards in the future which can affect the 'Lost Zone', but so far it seems to...
