Why not? Fossil Researched doesn't specify "basic" or "restored," it just says the name of the Pokemon. There is no reason from the wording of the card why you could not put a Forbidden Light Tyrunt on the bench, or why the older fossil items couldn't be used to bypass the Unidentified Fossil...

It says discard a basic energy. If it had, say, a DCE and a Unit Energy, there would be no energy discard requirement.

My local store recently started carrying Dex sleeves. I bought 2 sets and so far they are holding up even better than my Dragon Shields. No rippling along the open edge or limp corners. They're also about $1.00 cheaper than Dragon Shields.

I once hit for 1200 with my main deck. Marshadow GX with two Strong Energy, Fighting Fury Belt, and a benched Regirock EX. The Marshadow had 180 damage on his already and I used Tauros's Mad Bull GX attack against Zoroark GX, 600 damage doubled to 1200 for weakness.
