    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

Well, to get anyone to care enough to give it a nickname, it would first need to gain some relevance in the meta game. Therefore, I think Life Herb is pretty safe.

    SM7a 'Fairy Rise' Announced!

It's probably going to be a Wailord... And for Wailord that would only be 20 hp more than 10 (!) years ago. We already had a 200hp regular pokemon 10 years ago.

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

This is definitely not a set for the players... At least we got Magcargo and Copycat I guess.

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

Both of these can be outplayed by attaching/not attaching a choice band...

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

It seems highly unlikely Ludicolo will be buffed to a higher power level than Zoroark, based of the reprints we have seen so far. I'm betting it's still just going to be draw 1 card.

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

Magcargo seems like the first good card from Champion Road. Zoroarcargo let's go. Omg this is more consistency than any deck should ever have :D I take back what I said about a full set of irrelevant cards.

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

I think they're banking on nostalgia to sell this set. As a tcg company you always want to keep the powercreep as low as possible while still selling the new set, because otherwise older products will go down in popularity and players might get frustrated by the power creep. So whenever tpci...

Unfortunately Electrode only attaches to non-gx pokemon, so it can't be that big

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

I mean, it's supposed to be a reprint, just updated to today's standards (if it can really hold up to those is of course debatable.)

not bad. I like the attack, just too bad the ability can't attach to the active.

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

But at that point, why not just play Impoleon ? Both are water stage 2's with an attack cost of 2 and Impoleon is much less combo based and is most of the time going to do more damage. Even back in neo gen format format half of the reason feraligatr was so good was Trah Exchange. If they...

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

now we only need a reprint of Trash Exchange. THAT would be fun.

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

This is just stupid, they printed it knowing there is no reason this will ever see any play what so ever, but they printed it anyway... They made changes to the other reprints, then why not to this card ? They could have given it an effect like " If you knocked out a pokemon during your last...

News New Pokemon To Be Revealed This Weekend, Likely Zeraora!

nah, I don't think he's going to be that flimsy. The 70-90 hp range is usually reserved for the legendary/mythical pokémon, that are very small in stature. Zeroara is 4'11'' high, so my guess is that he's going to be more in the same ballpark as Darkrai, Latios and Latias, with 110-120 hp in the...

    'Forbidden Light,' Japan's SM6 Set!

It's a good tech against dragon pokemon, if a 180 HP one would ever become popular. Just put a Tapu Koko on your bench and this knocks it out with a choice band. We didn't really have that for fairies before, so it has at least some potential for filling a niche in the future.

    'Forbidden Light,' Japan's SM6 Set!

Who cares about Ultra Necrozma ? Mystery Treasure is the real deal here ! That card can search Tapu Lele for only 1 discard ! This might even make non-gx Marshadow viable, because it lets you decide whether you want to Wonder Tag or Let Loose.

SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

So pokemon wants us to build some crazy deck with all the ultra beasts, but in reality people are just gonna play even more Buzzwole... (Maybe with Naganadel to hit all the other Buzzwoles for weakness)
