    February's English Set: 'Team Up!'

can't know for sure yet, that image is just a digital image for the card (not the actual card).

Heatran Promo in January's 'CoroCoro Ichiban' Magazine

Heatran may be very useful when used along with Mallow which can guarantee 2 energy cards on the top of the deck, if you are lucky enough, you may end up attaching 3-4 energy cards at once.

    Standard Aerodactyl/Talonflame

Well I made this list quite some time ago when sun & moon wasn't out yet, so I guess we could make some changes later (when I have some free time to do that). Now with Sylveon GX avaliable, I guess we could also try it instead of talonflame and see how it works.

    Standard Passimian/Mew Team Play-deck

Not really a must, I'd like to know what it could possible help you if you prize like 2 or 3 passimians, your damage would be so low you couldn't possible KO anything to get the prized passimians. Rotom Dex in the other hand would help you much more in this kind of case since you would shuffle...

    Standard {{Future}} Golduck SM1

That depends on each player's playstyle. In my case, I dont like depending too much on too many evolutions in a deck. In my list, I'd be focusing on evolving golduck and golduck alone, I'd use the free space from starmie's to add more fisherman and energy retrieval.

    Standard Future Lurantis

Well, no1 plays Ratata EVO in a volcanion deck though.

    Standard {{Future}} Golduck SM1

My friend and I had an idea of making golduck with lapras gx. Using golduck break, lapras gx and manaphy ex, you can transfer energy from lapras gx to another pokémon and vice-versa using Golduck Break ability and use max potions to heal either lapras gx or golduck break with it. Manaphy makes...

    Expanded Trevenant BREAK help?

Compressor while not being critical in this deck, but it IS useful to get the supporter you need alot easier. It'll become even more useful if he plays ace trainer as well, since you can throw it out of your deck either if you need it or not (to prevent dead draws). The other good thing about...

Expanded How do I get the most out of this deck

I can see that you are the kind of person that likes to use only one of each pokémon card in your deck, but to increase the effectiveness of your deck, the first step is to change that. Second step would be focusing on one pokémon for the deck and this case its either mewtwo ex or alakazam ex...

    Expanded Trevenant BREAK help?

From Sun & Moon? Maybe Professor Kukui for some extra damage, but I don't really think this deck needs any change.
  11. Hyakko

    Standard Volcanion

Not to mention that Salamance EX will become very unstable once Sun & Moon is out (also Entei works agaisnt non-ex decks as well).
  12. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

I've played Mario enough to know about the Toad from the game, but Toad is also a vague word/name and in Pokémon TCG its occasionally used to refer to both Seismitoad or Greninja deck in some locations. Correcting you here: Choice band actually increases damage agaisnt EX and GX, instead of "NO...
  13. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

Thats because there aren't any, the only one avaliable for standard format is the one from Ancient Origins (AOR).
  14. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

Never played with a volcanion deck, but I've played against it plently times. I know that sometimes it can set up really fast, but volcanion also runs out of resorce pretty quickly. And it's most likely that Volcanion EX will only be ready to attack on T2 or T3, which is enough time to set up...
  15. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

I'm wrong about what? If Lurantis GX is using Choice band, it will be doing 150 damage. Having 2 Lurantis SM1+ (or 1 Lurantis SM1 and 1 Kukui) is more than enough to 1 hit ko volcanion EX since no1 uses FFB on them (they use float stone instead to reset volcanion EX's attack) and with Weakness...
  16. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

with choice band: both 1 hit ko each other if you have some Lurantis SM1+ in your bench. with Weakness Policy: no1 1 hit ko each other. with both Weakness Policy and Vaporeon: Only Lurantis 1 hit ko Volcanion. With choice band and Vaporeon: Both still 1 hit ko each other. Weakness Policy kinda...
  17. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

You are forgetting that it's not about just these 2 tools, he could simply take off the float stones and keep 2-2 choice band and weakness policy. as for switching pokémons, he could use escape rope/switch or even olympia. And even with wally, its still not 100% chance of setting up Vaporeon on T1.
  18. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

Just 1 weakness policy isnt enough. You gotta remember that unlike Lurantis, Vaporeon can't evolve the same turn it's played , so it might take some time before you manage to set up one. While doing that, it's most likely that you will take some heavy damage or even KO'd if you don't have...
  19. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

What are you talking about? lol Float stone is an ok tool for this deck, I guess you could run 2-2 Float Stone and Weakness Policy. Theres also that Choice Band tool promo card that will be given away in some japanese tournament some time in a near future that could take the place of these...
  20. Hyakko

    Standard Future Lurantis

Vaporeon from AOR may help agaisnt volcanion matches, but theres something even more useful for that which cost less space in the deck, the card name is Weakness Policy. In Mega Evolution era Weakness Policy was inviable because we had to use spirit links, but thats not the case in GX era. With...
