Blog Marching On Through Hell and High Water: Five Ways to Play Night March in a Hostile Meta

I think Archeops also disables Rare Candy, as it is evolving from the hand.

    Rainbow Road - Xerneas BKT

Running parallel city is just a matter of playstyle. I have beaten 4 M Scizor decks this past weekend just because of my counter parallel city. They will not play their parallel city unless they see you have a large bench so you would discard some pokemons. So you need to play it first. The...

    Rainbow Road - Xerneas BKT

It's not auto loss to M Scizor if you put Parallel. Chunking in Delinquent and Rainbow energy just make the list more inconsistent and you will not get the acceleration that you need. Too much OHKOs in the meta, and you will not stream continuous attackers without a consistent Max Elixir.

    Rainbow Road - Xerneas BKT

The problem with this is you need to play Sky Field rather than save the bench space with the dual type Bisharp. I personally play parallel city to counter opponent's parallel city and to also counter M Ray. And you also only need at least 7 types, to OHKO the megas that are in the meta now.

    Rainbow Road - Xerneas BKT

Add another fairy energy and max elixirs. You can remove the special charge and an N. Personally, I play 3 parallel city instead of the sky field, and play only 1 Shaymin. You can also cut the 2 switch as you have float stone, and cut an exp share and a Lysandre and the ranger. Add a Brigette...

P!P/Rules Are prize cards a good mechanic for a TCG?

You can't make the same mulligan rules on the same TCG as it have different mechanics. On Pokemon TCG, you can't start a game without a basic pokemon, and applying that mulligan rule from MTG will make games unplayable for that player. The sideboard thing though, is the one I will agree.

P!P/Rules Are prize cards a good mechanic for a TCG?

It's actually fair. The prizes stand as a challenge on how to build consistency on your deck. For example, against Night March and Vespiquen, the new hot tech card is Karen. It's a tech card, so putting more than one will make your list a bit tighter, and will fail to win against other matchup...

Can I see your list? It depends on what list you run.

    Rainbow Road - Xerneas BKT

It's not auto loss against M Scizor. Playing parallel city to counter the parallel city of your opponent is very important, and you can also OHKO their M Scizor. If you both have good draws, I'll still go with Rainbow Road.

    Greninja BREAK

I only play PTCGO online, and yeah it's good in there. I also played the deck for at least 2 months. But the competitive scene is different from the online. The set from Talonflame could easily be countered with N and if it is badly matched up with a lot of tier decks, I say tier 3 is the best...

    Greninja BREAK

I think this deck drops to tier 3-4, as the popularity of Garbodor increases. Almost all top tier decks have Garbodor (except M Ray and Xerneas BKT) which nullifies this deck due to absence of tool removal.

    Speed M Rayquaza-EX

Instead of the 1-1 Ninetales line, you could just have the trainers and supporters to recycle your pokemon, then use again another Sky Field. In this way, you will not lock out yourself on playing stadiums.

    Night March

The metagame in expanded doesn't favor Night March so much. It's good against aggro decks like Yveltal and Bees but struggles to anything with Seismitoad. And puzzle of time is not included in the expanded night march due to having Mew-ex and 4 valleys and at least 3 basic energies. So the slots...

    Standard 2017 Water toolbox

I think the deck would have a hard time running without the pressure of quaking punch. But nice list btw

    Greninja BREAK

I only play online, so it kinda sucks. Haha. So it can't be substituted with any pokemon or trainers?

    Greninja BREAK

Is Jirachi a must for this deck? I do not have it in my collection yet.... What can I substitute instead?

    Standard Wailord Stall (Need feedbacks)

I can juggle Greninja due to Lysandres and the Rough Seas. But I'm also considering Hex Maniac for the matchup. Enhanced Hammers are useless against Night March, but I'll also consider it. The Shauna is to avoid milling out first before the opponent. So I'll consider choices. Thanks too!

    Standard Wailord Stall (Need feedbacks)

The energies are for killing opponent bunnelby, and also using durant (because hugh is unavailable) and bunnelby (for opposing mill). And crushing hammers are on my mind but I'm scared about the 50-50 chance in success or failure. I'll think of it. Thanks a lot!!
