Your "Gap year" claim isn't accurate. HGSS -> BW did not take a gap year. At the very least, it does seem like no gen lasted less than 3 years, but presently, I think it can go either way.

I agree, I've always liked Arceus with the soft C, as it follows the Japanese name. Also, do people Butcher Kyorge? the japanese name is pronounced as Kai-o-ga The one name that throws me off is Zygarde. The Japanese pronunciation is Ji-ga-ru-dey, which sounds nothing like Zai-guard.

Ar-see-us was the original japanese pronunciation which I still stick to, but it was dropped by western territories because of the implications that it'll sound like As or Ass. Hence why they went with Ar-kay-us or Ark-ee-us. The 4 spikes already alluded to it being a Chimera to counter...

So I bought one booster box of CP6, and I only got one Secret Card (Imakuni's Doduo). Secret card indeed. They made it Uncommon, so that it would not replace Rares in the booster pack.

Too bad they they didn't honor the first reverse holo foil used in Legendary Collection.. Also I think the French one was using Cosmos holofoil.. edit: I may be wrong; rewatching the video, all the rares was reverse holofoil. I'm hoping to get reverse holo for Surfing and Flying Pikachu

There's been a few other Magearna cards besides Magearna EX, but yup, the only Gen VII pokemon so far. To add on, the alternate Zygarde formes will only debut in Sun/Moon, but they debut in the cards on BW/XY format too.
