    Discussion The Cube Format

I actually run a CUBE format once per month at my local league and it is BY FAR the most popular tournament style we have (and we run everything from Standard to Unlimited, U-150, Sealed Draft, Pre-release, etc. You name a format, we have run it at some point or another). I run a full singleton...

I think this will be a decent addition to the meta-game, especially since the format seems to be leaning towards a slower format post-SM. It is a nicely balanced form of draw support, especially for evolution based decks. Not the greatest supporter in the world, but not bad. Not bad.

This could be moderately useful for decks that can't afford to prize something (such as Gyarados). There is, however, the risk of re-prizing the same prizes. Overall, I think I like this card.

News Absol Promo in New 2-Pack Pin Blister

That Absol might find a place in mill decks or in Sableye/Garbodor decks in expanded. It isn't a half bad option with Life Dew, especially late game when you don't particularly need to Junk Hunt.

    Standard Fight Alone Lucario

I have been testing this deck for awhile and I found Carbink BREAK with Safeguard Carbink to be a really effective back-up attacker, support Pokemon, and wall. I have swung many a game with him by either stalling or powering up a fresh Riolu into a Lucario. This also solved the energy drought I...

Discussion Darkrai/Yveltal deck for Spring Regionals - how to deal with Jolteon-EX?

If you have the room, both Gallade and Zoroark make pretty quick work of Jolteon-EX, and both fit into Darkrai/Yveltal pretty easily.

Thank you. I had forgotten about Slowking. It would solve the Jirachi problem and Tina will solve the Sceptile problem. Thanks for your input.

    Seismitoad-EX Variants

I have thought of Giratina, but I also have almost every player in my league running at least one copy of Stardust Jirachi(some in multiples), which is a very dangerous card for Toad/Tina. I was asking about other counters because I am trying to see if I can even still make Toad Viable in my...

    Seismitoad-EX Variants

I have a quick question: I am currently playing a Toad/Hammers deck and my local league runs quite a few Mega Sceptile decks. I was wondering what Toad's answer to Mega Sceptile is. I am currently using Weakness Policy, but it is just too inconsistant to get it out. Any help would be appreciated.
