    'Remix Bout,' Japan's July Set!

It took eight years for Sawsbuck to appear in a second set. Here he comes galloping gracefully like a deer (how else?)! Bask upon his antler leaves. Get your chloro-fill of their verdant greens.

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

Thanks to everyone for remembering this thread. In a twist of irony, I’ve neglected it for a while due to my health irl. I haven’t been collecting or playing the game, though I do miss it quite a bit. I hope to come back to the hobby soon. Still no Sawsbuck. :( Anyway, I see that @Frost is...

Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble from 'Pokemon Sword' and 'Shield!'

Scorbunny = Score Bunny = a soccer player Pokémon I feel like Sobble will be a marine iguana since they are known for crying saltwater (also sneezing). Also I wonder if Grookey’s head stick will become a propeller and he’ll be a flying monkey.

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

The main post has been updated following Ultra Prism's release! Here's the breakdown: In Ultra Prism... 51 Pokemon were last seen in SM sets. 43 Pokemon were last seen in XY sets. 5 Pokemon were last seen in BW sets. 7 Pokemon were last seen in PLAT sets. 5 Pokemon haven't had cards before...

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

Yeah, I'm really happy to see Phione return. My second favorite Pokemon! It's Phione's first card since 2013. Prior to that, it was in 2008's Majestic Dawn... and that's it! Definitely a highly neglected Pokemon overall.

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

Two more Rotom formes revealed! Like the previous revealed, Fan and Heat haven't been seen since 2009. Here's to hoping Wash and Frost don't get neglected!

Cranidos and Rampardos were revealed! They haven't been seen since 2009, in Platinum and Rising Rivals, respectively. Welcome back!

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

Yeah, I used to count promos but I feel like they aren't exactly the same as a set release. A set release feels more "official" to me somehow, whereas a promo release is just "here's a crappy filler card". I do plan to update my list(s) with promo releases soon once I stop getting called into...

Holy Vanillish! Mow Rotom was just announced for SM5! We haven't seen the Rotom forms since 2009's Rising Rivals, and that was the only time we ever saw them! Let's hope the rest show up too! This would be a glorious return of a long neglected line.

Finally got around to updating the list(s) for Crimson Invasion! I hate how work has gotten in the way of my Pokemon... Here's the breakdown: In Crimson Invasion... 12 Pokemon were last seen in SM sets. 65 Pokemon were last seen in XY sets. 1 Pokemon was last seen in a BW set. 1 Pokemon was...

Collecting The "Look What I Pulled" & Pull Rates Thread

I opened a Shining Legends ETB! I got some GX and a Shining and yadda yadda... The real thing people want to know is the pull rates for Purrloin! Out of 10 packs, I pulled 5 Purrloin! That's a 50% pull rate! TPCi is very generous to give such an incredible pull rate to such a highly...

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

Shining Legends has officially released! This subset has brought back a few old faces. My spreadsheet has been updated, as well as the opening post to this thread. Here's the breakdown: In Shining Legends... 8 Pokemon were last seen in SM sets. 42 Pokemon were last seen in XY sets. 3 Pokemon...

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

I'm aware. I'll be waiting for the official release on October 6, since the ETB is releasing only through the one store and as such isn't a full release that anybody could get anywhere. In the past I've always ignored "pre-release releases" for this reason.

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

I usually update as sets become available. It functions more as a "if you go to the store right now, you can get this Pokemon in this set" list, less of a upcoming prints list.

Discussion Neglected Pokémon in the TCG

Oof! First of all, I apologize for the lack of communication. Truth be told, I was struck with a series of health issues over the summer that made it difficult to sit at my computer, so my spreadsheet has been neglected (ironically). I want to get everything back up to date! I just finished...

Discussion Does Dragon Need a Basic Energy Type?

I like Dragon cards using other energy, but I think they could benefit from some rebalancing of cost and damage. It's hard enough to attach 2 different basic energies onto them in a timely manner, let alone an additional [C][C], or 1-2 additional Basic energies in many cases. And then there's...

News Japan's SM3+ Set: 'Shining Legends!'

I'm loving this set. Not just because of Purrloin's glorious return, but there's a lot of underappreciated Pokemon getting new cards at long last, and there's quite a lot of great artworks. I'm really excited to use Carnivine because it has the same attack as the ol' Dark Explorers one, and I...

News Japan's SM3+ Set: 'Shining Legends!'

Great to see TPC finally acknowledge that Bulbasaur and Ivysaur exist again! Also I'm excited for Plusle (and Minun too). What else is on that list... Arbok, Jynx... PURRLOIN?!?!! Purrloin is out of usable air! Purrloin has whited out!
