And I was looking forward to the new standard format. :(
But this is amazing news for new players! To start playing with good cards instead of crappy theme decks. And this may be a cheaper way to get competitive cards for existing players.
And I was so excited for Garbodor and to leave the format. :(
Now I was thinking that with the Expanded format, cards would rotate out too in the same way when they were in standard, so we would have next destinies - on. I'm a tad dissapointed it's like the Modern format. Plus, the modern...
What would Wally be for? You can use Forest of Giant Plants to evolve Oddish to Gloom then Vileplume in one turn. Wally also can't be used on EXs.
What are the odds that you'll have oddish, gloom, vileplume, and Giant Plant Forest all in your starting hand/turn 2 hand. You'll need level ball...
Have you considered playing Target Whistle? Let's just say you're playing against LandoBats, hypothetically. You knock out their Zubat turn 1 and then they send up this big Landorus. Next turn you could just target whistle and Lysandre for another knock out.
I think Sceptile might have a chance against M-Ray if you could get Vileplume up and running by turn 2 (with Giant Plant Forest and Wally), which could slow down M-Ray enough so that you could get your strategy set up. (this is still assuming your playing Ariados too.)
Lysandre's Trump Card also exists in MTG standard right now. Learn From the Past. Play two and you would never deck out. It only shuffles in your discard pile.
RE: What's Next After EX?
I don't mind EXs for the most part, I just wish that the sets were more balanced with good cards than just EXs. Right now almost every regular rare is garbage and only a handful of holos are good. I wouldn't mind having something like Primes again after EXs.
Hi! I need someone to trade with to evolve my Swirlix into Slurpuff. If you'd be willing to help, could you trade an aromatisse, please? We will trade right back. This is for my national pokedex.
THANK YOU TO LLR for helping me out here!
I was "inspecting the element", and besides the "all we are will perish only to be reborn anew" there was also "the cost of 4 mistakes". There was also the number 0315, which is the pokedex number for roselia, but I don't think it means anything.
Skyfield is an interesting stadium. It definitely helps Raichu (being able to hit for 160 with no damage modifiers) and Colress (draw for 16) and it helps the new M-Rayquaza. 30 times the number of your benched pokemon, being able to hit for up to 240 damage!
I plan to beat Plasma by using Mew to take out Deoxys. Even though Joltik as 30 hp, a DCE and 5 Night March Pokemon in the discard pile take out Lugia. While I might be helpless against Seismitoad, I can still use Quaking Punch against them. I also can Lysandre out certain cards if I can't...
RE: Night March! (Joltik / Lampent /Pumpkaboo / Mew EX)
Why take out the Xerosic? In the instance your trapped by Seismitoad & Garbodor, this is a good counter. But, still taking the considerations in, I'll do this.
-1 Xerosic
+1 Juniper
RE: Night March! (Joltik / Lampent /Pumpkaboo / Mew EX)
How about 1 skyla and 3 bicycle? I don't know how good Latias is in this deck because I don't have all the cards for the deck, but, since this deck has no counter to pyroar, I was thinking about having something in here that could...
