Assume I flip heads after playing Level Max, so I search my deck. Also assume I have the lv. X in my hand and know that there isn't one in my deck. Can I play the lv. X in my hand to level up someone on my bench, or does it have to come from my deck? Thank you! :D

I just traded for my first Claydol at League on Sunday. I know, I'm behind on the times. I was curious what people think about including him in a deck. Do you think it's okay to run a 1-1 Claydol line, or would I be better off not including him at all?
