I don't know how I feel about it yet. Setting up stage 2 ex's sounds crazy but at the same time I don't know if people are going to find a reaction to the card that is effective enough to basically shut it down or if it will simply be a strong card that nobody will know what to do about.

They are better than normal full art, but they are still cheap 2009 quality cgi renders that frankly don't look good in my eyes. There's nothing going on in them, just a Pokemon standing up and looking at the camera while they wear the pretty rock on their head.

Just because it's the first set doesn't mean that it should be a bore to less casual players. Pokemon TCG isn't a hard game to understand compared to the other major card games. This set is not only simple but it's just downright boring. When a new set is released for the game people get excited...

Honestly, I don't care if they keep printing Vmaxes as long as their getting drowned out by Vstars and are not absurd and boring, a little variety in the gimmicks is a fine thing as long as they don't overdo it.

The new fire pokemon feel more like fan creations than actual pokemon. They look more like an RPG boss fight rather than something you can collect. Can't wait for fanart of them though, I bet it's going to be sick!
