Discussion 5Ban looks a lot better

These days I've been finding myself liking the idea of playing/collecting more than I do like actually playing/collecting. But even still, I remember the V's of Sword & Shield looking really bad. I kind of fell out of the TCG loop after tag team Pokemon destroyed the fun for me. But I did still...

“Snow Hazard” and “Clay Burst” Sets Featuring Chien-Pao ex and Ting-Lu ex Officially Revealed!

I don't know how I feel about it yet. Setting up stage 2 ex's sounds crazy but at the same time I don't know if people are going to find a reaction to the card that is effective enough to basically shut it down or if it will simply be a strong card that nobody will know what to do about.

“Snow Hazard” and “Clay Burst” Sets Featuring Chien-Pao ex and Ting-Lu ex Officially Revealed!

Those water type decks are really fun to play with. I think Chien-Pao is probably going to be what I play once it comes out. I really like that Chien-Pao has the ability that makes it a little more fun than just being practically just a beatstick. Overall, I just really like this set...

Discussion 5Ban looks a lot better

I feel like the 5ban graphic GX's and V Pokemon looked really bad. But with the ex/EX Pokemon and their limited border I feel like 5ban graphics' style looks a lot better. Or maybe the V Pokemon aren't as bad as I think they are? What do y'all think?

“Scarlet & Violet” Complete Set Guide: English Cards, Set List, Products, Changes, and More!

Is the new scratchy texture for the full art Terastalized Pokemon different than those used for other full art rulebox Pokemon before or do all full art rulebox Pokemon have unique scratchy textures?

Discussion Finally Happy that we've gotten Good Reverse Holos after years!

The reverse holo pattern for Sword and Sheild doesn't really change anything about the card in terms of how pretty it was. The Sword and Shield pattern was too uniform and had no points of interest. I personally preferred the Sun and Moon holo pattern to it because at least that one was...

    All “Triplet Beat” Secret Rares!

They should just replace the ultra rare with the illustration rare at this point. Most times when I pull a normal ultra-rare gx/v/ex I'm always thinking how much I would have preferred to get the alternate art card instead. Don't get me wrong, it's always exciting to get a nice rare full-art...

    All “Triplet Beat” Secret Rares!

They are better than normal full art, but they are still cheap 2009 quality cgi renders that frankly don't look good in my eyes. There's nothing going on in them, just a Pokemon standing up and looking at the camera while they wear the pretty rock on their head.

    All “Triplet Beat” Secret Rares!

Glad to see that there are more 'story' stage 2 Ex's, these are fun. But I don't think that they will be fun for the collector's wallets. Also, thanks for the chart. The new rarity system was a little confusing so the chart is a nice refresher for a player like me who isn't incredibly involved...

All 73 “Triplet Beat” Cards Fully Revealed!

Just because it's the first set doesn't mean that it should be a bore to less casual players. Pokemon TCG isn't a hard game to understand compared to the other major card games. This set is not only simple but it's just downright boring. When a new set is released for the game people get excited...

Magikarp Illustration Rare from ‘Triplet Beat’!

That's some pretty extra art. Lots of things and stuff happening at once. But I just kind of find it ugly and prefer the normal art to this over-clustered mess.

First “Scarlet & Violet” Set Cards Revealed!

Iron Treads like many of the other beloved Pokemon of modern age has been created with the same innovative, modern and exciting design elements that make the newer Pokemon of this generation sharply stand out from the crowd of all the other 1000 Pokemon. Here are some of his most fascinating...

“Paradigm Trigger” Set Featuring Lugia VSTAR Officially Revealed!

Honestly, I don't care if they keep printing Vmaxes as long as their getting drowned out by Vstars and are not absurd and boring, a little variety in the gimmicks is a fine thing as long as they don't overdo it.

Armarouge, Ceruledge, Klawf, and More Revealed from “Pokemon Scarlet & Violet!”

The new fire pokemon feel more like fan creations than actual pokemon. They look more like an RPG boss fight rather than something you can collect. Can't wait for fanart of them though, I bet it's going to be sick!

VMAX Pokemon Appear to Return in Upcoming Japanese Decks, More “Lost Abyss” Products!

New Vmax are probably not coming because the TCG has a habit of making gimmicks and not doing anything with them after 2 years. But if they do comeback I just have one question: Why?
