The lettering in the picture might be, but generally these are not holographic.

The name of the box sounds like a name that would help wrap up this generation. Also, the only logical reason not to reprint all of the common trainers (energy switch, potion, etc.) is because they will release them again soon in another base set.

I really wish I were able to at least attend, I might actually collect this years World's merchandise at some point in the future. I also hope that due to its low playability, it might sell cheaper than Trop. Beaches.

Levels were on the original cards up until the e-series, and were re-introduced with the DP era to be continued to the end of the HGSS block. They served no real purpose, and were included only as part of the flavor text.

I'm pretty sure that only your native-language is allowed, but I may be wrong, all I do for that is the Prereleases.

If you live in the U.S. or really anywhere other than japan, the native-language cards generally are worth more because you can only use native-language cards in competitive play. However, there are also people who would rather collect foreign cards than their own due to better quality, better...

We have never gotten all of the promos that japan has gotten. We most likely never will. However, a lot of their promos are reprints with different artwork or just the same artwork with a little stamp from one of their airline promotions or something. I'm staring to get tired of the BW series...

You can breed Manaphy, yet it's still considered a legendary. And even though the anime is very incorrect when compared to the games, legendary Pokémon are able to breed in the anime.

It'll probably retail for about $20. When was the last time that there was a $25 retail Pokémon product?

Rotom has been called both legendary and non-legendary by official sources, and although it seems to be not because of the movepool and simple novelty of it, I say it is a legendary, just like Phione. Okay, we should add "Plus Rotom Discussion" to the title or get back on topic.

These dragons better not be promos, I really don't want to waste my money on this. The borders do look gold, but that won't make me buy this.

Please include the starter evolutions, or some other pokemon, just as long as it isn't a bunch of new people.

RE: Your X&Y Team? I really want to see more pokemon to decide. I don't like using the same pokemon in more than one playthrough, preferring the newer for the primary game(s), and I like having a balanced team. Still not sure which game, and starter will be decided based on the evolutions...
