Joltik Box plays Galvantula and Iron Leaves which gives it a pretty big advantage against Grimmsnarl. I don’t think the deck’s a hard counter like Raging Bolt but the matchup should be good.

I think they could add a background or an outline around the letters. There's something about the plain, bold red letters that feels kind of cheap. It kind of blends into the art too.

Wow. I don't know what to say. This set is actual garbage. Okay, to be fair there are definitely playable cards in it, but nothing has any "wow" factor. Just a bunch of tech cards and no new flashy archetype. I guess just wait for Megas as the next big thing. RIP my beloved ability-locking...

A Jellicent ex - Garbodor deck definitely sounds enticing. Might as well bring back Ancient Power Archeops too but alas, the PTCG designers have no idea what brilliant game design looks like.

Only about 60 Pokemon have been revealed out of the 156 total from Unova so there's still hope that the two combined sets feature a genuinely competitive new deck archetype. So far I have not been terribly excited by any of the reveals. (Bring back Garbotoxin you cowards)

I disagree, Zekrom and Reshiram ex are easily viable one-ofs in Fire and Electric decks and Genesect ex looks extremely playable for metal evolution decks. If anything a lot of the stage 2s and non-exs we've been seeing are kind of interesting but too clunky to make use of.

Competitively the cards suck. For collecting I think we can expect a lot of scalping.

I don't see it. Drifloon provides a crazy amount of damage for 1 prize card. Mega Gardevoir is a three-prize stage-2 liability that Raging Bolt can consistently blow up for good prize trades. Especially with how slow Gardevoir is now.
