Black Kyurem ex from Paradise Dragona

I just realized the text says “opponent’s Pokémon is a Dragon Pokémon” not “an N’s Pokémon”…like N’s Reshiram. Guess I won’t be making a counter-N’s Pokémon deck.

“Battle Partners” Set to Release in Japan in January, Return of Owner’s Pokemon!

Will it fix power creep? No. Will it limit power creep? Yes. A Tag Team ex with nearly 400HP which gives up three prizes is never ideal, but a 400HP Tag Teag ex which only gives up two prizes is infinitely worse.

“Battle Partners” Set to Release in Japan in January, Return of Owner’s Pokemon!

They better be 3 prizers. In a world where something like Paladin ex with a Hero’s Cape is a 440HP stage one that only gives up two prizes, power creep has gone too far.

As a long time Galvantula fan I’m incredibly excited for a spider tribal deck. Also, give us Unfezant ex you cowards.

Raging Bolt, Iron Boulder from Stellar Miracle!

Raging Bolt seems hard to use unless you can accelerate a sizable amount of fighting or lightning energy to a…dragon Pokémon. 130 for 3 isn’t great. Iron Boulder looks like another “if you played X supporter this turn” Pokémon (that supporter being Judge or Iono if the prize count is equal)...

    Klinklang Line from Stellar Miracle!

You could run one or two copies as a tech specifically against Chein Pao. I tech Mewtwo from 151 to counter Charizard for that reason. As soon as Baxcalibur hits the table Klinklang is playable without needing to evolve *and* with an attack that takes any kind of energy. It’s not a bad card IMO.

    Klinklang Line from Stellar Miracle!

Klink- Not bad. Card draw for a colorless is good, and it works well with Buddy Buddy Poffin. Klang- Not great. I wish PTCGI would make Stage 1s which are not final evolutions better. It’s a little tiring to see them as afterthoughts. KlinKlang- Good against…Charizard? You could run a few in...

Slither Wing, Iron Moth from “Night Wanderer”

For the final Scarlet/Violet set I would love to see some past, present, future synergy. Make Slither Wings/Volcarola/Iron Moth or Koraidon/Cyclizar/Miraidon decks viable.

New Ultra PRO “Elite Series” Accessories Featuring Lucario!

I don’t play video games and have never seen an S tier Lucario deck, which is why I asked. (TBF I started playing in Ultra Prism)

New Ultra PRO “Elite Series” Accessories Featuring Lucario!

Is lucario a heavy hitter in the video games? I never play it in TCG but every time I turn around I feel like I see another lucario product.

Pokemon TCG Earned Record $857 Million in Japan for 2023, More Than Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, and Others Combined!

I wonder what the numbers are for player bases outside Japan. Also…Weiss Schwartz is still a thing?

    Finally - a frog that isn’t Greninja.

“Palafin ex Box” Revealed for June with Three Brand New Cards!

Remember when Zapdos/Moltres/Articuno Tag Team GX debuted at 300 HP, but gave up three prize cards, and everyone lost their minds? Now we have a stage 1 Pokémon with 340 HP which only gives up two prize cards and attacks for 250 at the cost of a single energy. As soon as PTCG debuts its first...

Feebas and Milotic from “Mask of Change!”

Not that Feebass does much, but with the new Relicanth we’ll need to pay more close attention to Basic and Stage 1 attacks.
