Skarmory - my answer to the first question is my favorite Pokemon, Dewgong, who has never received a chase card despite being a gen 1 Pokemon.
Here's my pitch - Lorelei's Dewgong illustration rare or special illustration rare. Lorelei's Dewgong is first Elite Four match of the series and it's...
If the card has the Pokemon Go logo on it, it has the Niantic copyright. Not every card in the English Pokemon Go set actually has that logo, which is why China could get some of them unchanged, like Dragonite V and Dragonite VSTAR.
The fact that the TCG is focusing on Gen 5 right now should be indication that they're NOT doing a port/remake of Gen 5 anytime soon... otherwise they would be saving the Gen 5 focus until whenever the remake happens.
Despite the updated translation, a certain Fire and Flying-type still learns Heat Wave naturally in the video games... 🤔
But in the TCG, only Volcarona (Noble Victories/Cosmic Eclipse), Talonflame (Unified Minds) and Ninetales (151 ex) have had the move Heat Wave.
It'd only be pushed back if you were expecting it come out November 2025. Some people still do, but a lot think they'll wait until the 30th anniversary in 2026.
Regular holos have been bulk for well over a decade at this point. Making each pack have one costs them very little but also helped them get away with a price increase.
For those wondering about the artwork:
1. Oddish: new art
2. Metapod: Sun/Moon base set
3. Squirtle: new art
4. Articuno: new art
5. Clefairy: Hidden Fates
6. Abra: Vending S1
7. Kirlia: Cosmic Eclipse
8. Pidgeot: new art
9. Primeape: Jungle
10. Machop: Guardians Rising
11. Farfetch'd: Neo...
Pokemon in the main series games would be NFTs in that case. People have sold (or at least try to sell) hacked shinies or 6 IV Pokemon online for years...
Clefairy's art is from Hidden Fates but it was still Fairy back then. The weird Not Reprints aspect of Pocket throws me off... especially when they used the Parent Child Kangaskhan trophy card's art as a new card.
