Hydrapple ex, Stellar Lapras ex, Briar, and More Revealed from “Stellar Miracle!”

Gholdengo lacks representation to have more precise data, but even the data we have, puts it on par with tier 3 decks which isn't far from rogue and is usually reserved for popular & massively underperforming decks or overperforming rogue decks. Regardless, not all rogue decks are made equal...

Hydrapple ex, Stellar Lapras ex, Briar, and More Revealed from “Stellar Miracle!”

You are doing the same. You are making a defintion based on potential exceptions you CAN'T PROVE. I can prove the playerbase is getting more competitive by just looking at attendance numbers at regionals, points gotten per player at leagues, etc. You cannot do the opposite. But is safe to...

Losing every time isn't fun when it is one sided. When its close, is different, but i can't see anyone having fun losing badly every day. Just because there might be someone that loves playing janky decks and losing a lot, doesn't invalidate the argument. Generalizations exist for a reason

I never said i don't play ladder. I just play unraked daily for unrelated reasons. And play is something that is not even true, i just do the ridiculous daily and immediatly surrender the game, i'm not actively trying to complete games there, i just don't want to change decks in ranked for...

Hydrapple ex, Stellar Lapras ex, Briar, and More Revealed from “Stellar Miracle!”

Tier 2 is stuff like charizard EX, stallax or dragapult atm. Sure, those decks might become tier 1 suddenly again, but the decks considered tier 1 would take their place instead (Garde, Lugia, Bolt, etc.). Theese decks eat on a table of their own as they usually counter each other and the...

Hydrapple ex, Stellar Lapras ex, Briar, and More Revealed from “Stellar Miracle!”

This mentality is very unhealthy as a player. It limits growth. People likes to compete, therefore they play decks that can do that. There is no incentive to put yourself in an unecessary disvantage by playing suboptimal cards. You don't gain anything extra from winning with palafin vs winning...

Hydrapple ex, Stellar Lapras ex, Briar, and More Revealed from “Stellar Miracle!”

A card needs to be good to be playable in a game like pokemon because everything is so affordable. Low level locals have a selection of the best decks, people is barely trying suboptimal strategies. I have even seen this in kitchen level pokemon where people starts with a battle league or...

Hydrapple ex, Stellar Lapras ex, Briar, and More Revealed from “Stellar Miracle!”

Why would raging bolt need trumpet? If you have played raging bolt, you know the deck consistently hits any number you want it to. You will actually make the deck worse by playing trumpet and more colorless pokemon you really don't need. Just play trekking shoes and consistency cards.

Speculating is pointless. Also, it wpuld be limited to tgat specific attacker which needs to be basic, as blissey + item is very space & set-up intensive for your deck. Is not like nergies are magically milled t1 and blissey ex materializes out of thin air. For that much effort, there are better...

We have atm 28 tera pokemon in live. We get revavroom in August. After that, we have terapagos, galvantula, lapras, cinderace and whatever else. Out of the 28 we have now, only greedent is colorless. None of the 8 stage 2's (ninja, chomp, tsareena, zard, pult, skeledirg, dragonite & ttar) have...

Hydrapple ex, Stellar Lapras ex, Briar, and More Revealed from “Stellar Miracle!”

You are overvaluing the usages a lot. You need to be playing a tera pokemon and you accel to colorless pokemon only. How many decks are exactly going to benefit? Stuff like zard or dragapult have no business touching this which limits it to the featured terapagos deck and random stuff like...

The rotom and bouffalants are lowkey good C support, but yeah, tera stuff is terapagos only

Also, for what is worth, hydrapple (w relicanth) or dipplin beat a bunch of random decks like dark (moon or loyal three), ancient, future, miraidon, bolt, etc. Card still requires too much effort, but can be a funny deck with grass ogerpon and foretress ex ( with a bajillion catchers, ionos, etc.)

Nah. It's only meant to support terapagos deck which does flawlessly. Is too limited to be played outside the rotom, bouffalant, noctowl, terapagos engine.

“Pokemon TCG: Holiday Calendar” 2024 Revealed for August!

No toolkit i assume. They release in summer (June-July) and we got 0 word on them by now, so it's safe to assume it was dropped. We would know by now if it was real. ---------- On topic: Not a fan of a $49.99 product with almost no potential returm value. It should be like a $25-30 product...

“ex Deluxe Battle Decks” for Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex Releasing in August!

Dude, pokemon cards are already quite cheap. In no other TCG you can buy a top deck for 50-70 bucks. That's less than the cost of a booster box, the only really expensive card (that cannot be gotten in an accesible rarity) is catcher at like $25 bucks (super cheap) but you can live without it in...

Kingdra ex, Horsea Illustration Rare, Dangerous Laser ACE SPEC, and More Revealed from “Night Wanderer!”

Dragapult is going to keep on getting smashed by big basics next set anyway. Ogerbolt is destroying it atm and loyal three dark deck can do it aswell. Seems the fad was exaggerated and short lived.

For reference, this is a standard yugioh card text: During the Main Phase, if your opponent Normal or Special Summoned 5 or more monsters this turn (Quick Effect): You can Tribute as many face-up monsters on the field as possible, and if you do, Special Summon this card from your hand, then...

It’s the BDIF For a Reason — Advanced Tips For Playing Charizard ex

You have it backwards. Pokemon players don't build decks, they just netdeck what wins because everything is affordable. Only top players stay ahead of the curve with deckbuilding and often times, it gets to a point where it is only a couple of cards. In yugioh, deckbuilding is essential for...
