What kind of metroidvania games do you play?

Mainly the CastleVania games though I've touched some Metroid games (Super, Fusion, Prime) and some indie titles (Shantae, Hollow Knight)

What do you play them on?

Whatever systems they're available that I own, that's kind of too vague of a question to answer specifically.

Super Metroid released on the SNES, Fusion for GBA and the Prime Trilogy for the Wii.
