Ohh I love the Noodler's Eel series! Not too sure about the Pelikan but I'm a huge fan of the Midnight Blue and Sequoia Green. Dark Green sounds like a good choice though.

Actually, now after some thought, I am going to just get noodler's forest green, as it is much cheaper

The twsbi eco is such a good pen for the price
although i have been plagued with a scratchy nib

Not really. I just use a thick cloth to keep the nib from corroding and try to make sure I'm not pressing too hard.

Oh yeah, and I try to make sure the tines are aligned the right way.
