Foongus and Amoonguss have just been revealed from Black Bolt and White Flare! The set will release in Japan on June 6th and will then release in English on July 18th.
Foongus – Grass – HP50
Basic Pokémon
[C] Poison Spore: Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Poisoned.
Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 1


Amoonguss – Grass – HP120
Stage 1 – Evolves from Foongus
[C] Dangerous Reaction: 30+ damage. If your opponent’s Active Pokémon is affected by a Special Condition, this attack does 120 more damage.

Darn, I was kind of hoping for a Sporprise Amoonguss reprint.

That said this line and the Galvantula line weren’t too hot back in the early BLW-era, both had subpar prints and even Sporprise Amoonguss was fighting for a spot in decks that needed a Poison spreader until Energy Signal Roserade was rotated out.

To be fair Amoonguss has never had a "Dark" type card since its inception and this is a commemorative BW set of sorts.

It wouldn't have been Dark type until Gen 8 but it should have since it's an asshole

Have you not seen ANY of the illustration rares for the starters in this set? They’re all from different artists
 
Honestly, I like this with Brute Bonnet/poison:

150 base with +10 damage from poison - That's squawk KOed and most non-rule box Pokemon right now
Add 40 from Mochi for 200 damage and KOing Pokemon like Mew and Lillie's clefairy
Add +20 from a perilous jungle, and that's most common basic exs, like Fez and Latias

Oh, and said attack is also a non-typed attack. Meaning you can play it with a completely different energy type to grass if you wish. Also, colourless meaning you can utilize Jet, mist and what not on special energies.
 
Foongus would've been goated with and without the sauce if it paralyzed or even put to sleep. Minimal use, classic bulk from a collector set
 
I don't think the among us is that bad, especially with how good poison is right now. Play it with bonnet, mochi and the baby pecharunt, you got a decent 1 energy attacking deck
 
Gonna try to use this in Status Control Grass for GLC. Super low commitment attacker for an otherwise pretty stally deck, I've yet to build it but it's gonna happen when this set drops.
