Alright, I apparently didn't notice that there are 5 hours left. Sorry I couldn't talk earlier, I had stuff.
To business.
I would say that scattered, to me, is the player seeming most scummy. Zone and Nick have pointed out a few of those reasons - threatening no lynch, etc.
Still, I cannot say that I am 100% unbiased - since I'm the player scattered is most targeting, I can't say how much of my scumread on him is accurate.
Also, I agree with Zone in the fact that scattered's abilities can help, and we can just lynch him tomorrow if he was lying.
Thus, it is not optimal to lynch scattered.
Alright, we now have 2 options.
a) lynch one among the others - Drac, me, Nick.
This would theoretically be to try and lynch scum if scattered isn't scum. Still, I see a few problems with that.
First - what if scattered is scum? It's not out of the question, and if that were the case, we'd just be thinning the crowd with no chance of lynching scum.
Next - if scattered is not scum, I don't believe it's likely that we will guess right. It's a 1-in-3 choice (including myself), assuming a one-person scum team.
(If the scum team is 2-person, I think we're generally dead.)
b) What if we lynch Zone? If the announcement is to be believed, Zone is going to die anyway, and scattered can supposedly bring him back D3.
Still, there are problems with that, too.
First - what if we're wrong about the nightkill? If scum is able to kill scattered - assuming scattered is town - before SoD3, we lose both Zone and scattered.
Second - if scattered survives to D3, there is still the chance of non-cooperation - if he is scum. He could then force a no lynch, and gain the advantage.
If scattered is town, though, I think it's worth considering though.
I'm not really sure about either of these options.
Thoughts?
