"You simps are held up by a mere child? I am Team Magma's Maxie. Why on earth do you feel compelled to mess up Team Magma's plans? Pokémon, people, all life exists on land... That's why Team Magma is trying to expand the world's landmass. Don't you agree? What we are doing is a magnificent undertaking. Well, no matter... You're young. Your inability to understand our noble cause can't be helped... But, if you were to impede us ever again, you'll see no mercy from us! Keep that firmly in mind! Farewell!"

****** Deck List Generated by the Pokémon TCG Online www.pokemon.com/TCGO ******

NOTE: I do not want to hear "just play Zoroark lul" in the comments; this deck is mostly just a meme that I would like to optimize to the fullest extent.

It seems that Team Magma has invaded the Pokemon world once again! With the power of benched Claydols, Numels, Baltoys, and Camerupts, Zangoose can easily hit for monstrous damage if Sky Field is in play! Utilize Camerupt's ability to stream Energy from the discard to itself, and then move it around with Claydol in order to power up Zangooses, oftentimes as early as turn 2! With a little help from some Battle Compressors (stolen from Team Flare, of course!), one can easily chunk all of the Fighting Energy into the trash for Camerupt to recycle! Search out everything quickly and efficiently using one of Team Magma's most glorious inventions: a Great Ball that not only searches for one Basic Team Magma Pokemon, but a Fighting Energy as well! If the going gets rough, Courtney and Tabitha are ready to retrieve up to 3 Team Magma Pokemon from the discard pile! Overwhelm your opposition with the full ferocity and speed of a united Team Magma front!

To the reader, you seem like a strapping young fellow! Would you like to enlist in a greater cause to benefit all of humanity? Enlist in TEAM MAGMA today in order to increase the habitable landmass for humans and grant all of man better and more vast farmland and land opportunities.

Enlist today!

TEAM MAGMA has made some substantial overhauls to make their glorious deck more consistent, powerful, and recyclable! Although TEAM MAGMA is not necessarily sure exactly what cards replaced what, TEAM MAGMA shall attempt to explain what replacements they can.

- All Battle Compressor are gone, replaced with 1 Shuckle LOT

TEAM MAGMA should have known better than to outsource their glorious work to the devious Team Flare! Although Battle Compressor had its uses getting both Energy and useless Supporters into the Discard Pile, Shuckle LOT is much better due to the fact that it discards enough Energy off of its ability for the Camerupt/Claydol combo to be active at pretty much any point in the game! Although it is a bit of a shame that Shuckle is only an honorary member of TEAM MAGMA and cannot be recycled/searched via TEAM MAGMA's regular means (i.e., cannot be searched off of Team Magma's Great Ball or Team Magma Admin), it is surprisingly easy to hit and can be easily searched with other cards (explained later)!

- Some Fighting Energy have been swapped for a Fire and a Recycle Energy, as well as some Fighting being removed altogether

Although TEAM MAGMA does not particularly like starting with a Numel in the active, the situation is infinitesimally worse when compounded with the fact that, without Fire Energy, Camerupt cannot attack at all! Only one Fire Energy is necessary in order to have Camerupt be a last-ditch attacker at some point in the game (although it is particularly useful in Grass and Metal matchups when compounded with Choice Band!). A Recycle Energy has been added due to the fact that it is rather difficult to get up 3 Claydol AND 3 Camerupt in order to loop Zangooses, one of the key parts of TEAM MAGMA's deck! As a result, Recycle Energy was added so that one could loop Zangooses utilizing only 2 Camerupt and 2 Claydol, plus the infinitely recyclable Recycle Energy!

- Added some Choice Band

With a full "Sky Field Bench", Zangoose hits for... 160?!? PAH! That is an abysmal number for TEAM MAGMA to hit, falling short of crucial KOs against Leles, Blowns, and other Basic EXes/GXes! With Choice Band, this number now becomes 190, which goes a very long way in particular matchups!

- Added some Random Receiver and some Trainers' Mail, fewer overall draw Supporters

TEAM MAGMA sadly cannot run any Leles or Shaymins in the deck, due to the fact that these will clog up the bench and come back to hurt TEAM MAGMA! As a result, these cards allow for TEAM MAGMA to quickly dig through their deck to hit early game draw cards! While this 3-3 line may seem a bit odd, it works particularly well for TEAM MAGMA, so TEAM MAGMA is not going to fix what isn't broken!

- 3-3-3 line of Evosoda, Level Ball (NEW!!!), and Team Magma's Great Ball

TEAM MAGMA realized that Level Ball is a better search than their own Great Ball in some scenarios because not only can Level Ball hit all of the Pokemon that their Great Ball could (including Zangoose!), but it can also search out Claydol as well, due to the fact that it has 90 HP! This means that Level Ball is a flexible card that acts as both a Team Magma's Great Ball and an Evosoda in some situations! Evosoda and Team Magma's Great Ball have been trimmed down slightly to accommodate for Level Ball's flexibility. Also, Level Ball is a great way to grab the Shuckle in the early game in order to get their Fighting and Fire Energy in the discard on Turn 1 for Camerupt to recycle!

- Added Dowsing Machine

TEAM MAGMA forgot their ACE SPEC in the previous list! Whoooooops!

- Only a 4-3 line of Camerupt

TEAM MAGMA has shaved a Camerupt due to the fact that Recycle Energy puts a lot less pressure on Camerupt to recycle Energy from the Discard Pile. Additionally, TEAM MAGMA found that they were drawing too many Camerupts on Turn 1, only to discard them via Professor Sycamore as waste.

(TEAM MAGMA may have glossed over some changes, but these are probably just little bits of fat that have been trimmed for consistency reasons.)

Although the deck is shaping up to be pretty good (MUCH better than TEAM MAGMA ever expected it to be!), there are a few cards that TEAM MAGMA hates to see, and would like some help dealing with!:

Public Enemy No. 1: Chaotic Swell
TEAM MAGMA hates this card!
TEAM MAGMA hates this card!
TEAM MAGMA hates this card!
TEAM MAGMA hates this card!
Did TEAM MAGMA mention that they hate this card?
TEAM MAGMA is unable to place down their Sky Field whilst Chaotic Swell is in play, reducing Zangoose's powerful 190 damage to a pitiful 130.

Problem Card No. 2: Garbodor
TEAM MAGMA likes the fact that Camerupt and Claydol can recycle their Energy at any given point in the game, and Garbotoxin takes a biiiiiig steaming dump all over this strategy! The deck often crumbles under ability lock, but the silver lining is the fact that only a hard Garbotoxin (Garbodor), Shadow Stitching (Greninja/Greninja BREAK), or Bide Barricade (Wobbuffett) actually works against this deck! TEAM MAGMA is immune to many "shortcut" Ability locks, such as Power Plant, Silent Lab, and Alolan Muk, which is always a plus!

Problem Card No. 3: Sudowoodo
TEAM MAGMA likes their big benches, and this card is not only the equivalent of removing Sky Field, but it also reduces TEAM MAGMA's previously expansive deck to 4! This is terrible because now the damage cap of Zangoose is only 80, meaning that if TEAM MAGMA is able to "Guzma" a Sudowoodo, it cannot get a OHKO! TEAM MAGMA is not too crazy about this card, but is thankful that its usage seems to be in decline as Zoroark-GX is in decline. But when it DOES show up, it's practically an autoloss for TEAM MAGMA!

Problem Card No. 4: Trevanant BREAK
Although this deck seems to be played less and less, TEAM MAGMA is not too thrilled when it shows up, as it not only hinders TEAM MAGMA's high speed, but it also wipes TEAM MAGMA's expansive bench with only a few Silent Fears.

Although TEAM MAGMA knows that their deck is obviously not top-tier, TEAM MAGMA would like to optimize their deck as much as possible so that they may capture Groudon to appease Leader Maxie and grow the Earth's landmass for the good of humanity! TEAM MAGMA appreciates any and all feedback/advice so that they can advance their plan to bring about a brighter tomorrow!

All hail Leader Maxie! All hail TEAM MAGMA!
