ARMS is the latest Nintendo release, a quirky fighting game that involves the use of stretchy weaponised arms to punch, thump and knock-out opponents. After a fun showcase and tournament at E3, ARMS released worldwide on the 16th of June, already to much critical acclaim. Fun fact: there's currently 4650 different combinations of arms and characters.

Have you gotten your gloves on ARMS yet? What are you impressions of Nintendo's latest IP?

 

[Professor Palutena]

This game is do addicting! All the characters have really neat gameplay mechanics and it's so easy to get the hang of.

 

[Brave Vesperia]

I got it yesterday and it's great! Me, Professor Palutena and Keeper of Night were playing together, and while it's very chaotic with 3 people it just makes it that much more fun. Hedlok, a multiplayer boss, is a pain though. I've mostly been using Helix. AKA Gumby.

I'm planning to buy a Switch soon, and after watching some gameplay of it, this will be one of the games I will get for it. It looks really fun and quirky, and I love fighting games so it will be great to have a new game to kick my friend's butt in.
