I'm not interested in changing yet, but would "JC" be ok even though it is one less than the limit? Most people know me by/reference me as JC anyway.

It is a software restriction so we can't do it. Even though I could edit it in the database, the problem is then all the posts your username would be wrong. It updates numerous tables when a username change is done, not just one. Sorry.

I even tried going to the Register screen (just as a demo) to see if I could input a 2-letter username. It wouldn't let me - 3 is the minimum.
