I am not your average nerd, I'm your unaverage nerd. I love hardcore punk and go to loads of hardcore shows. I am a storm chaser and run a storm chasing website (okay that's a bit nerdy). And have a half sleeve tattoo. I am straight edge (I hate alcohol, tobacco and drugs) and I did kick boxing.

Pokemon Related:

Well I'm probably one of the older guys- I started collecting Pokemon cards in the late 90s (1999) while in Primary School. It was awesome, spending every break trading cards and every afternoon finding loose change to buy a packet of chips to get one of those Pokemon Tazos inside. I stopped collecting cards just before the NEO series was released here- and I wouldn't collect again for another 9 years.

I started playing the games properly in about 2004 when Fire Red came out- though was never rich enough to own a Nintendo Gameboy, so I played them as ROMs on the PC.

Last year 2009, I somehow got back into collecting the cards and within about 6 months I have accumulated over 2000 cards, 18 EX, 6 LVL X, 160 Holos and 150 rares.

In December 2009 I decided I would buy myself a Nintendo DS and Pokemon Pearl. Since then I have notched up near 300 hours Gameplay and started Platinum, waiting on HG and SS. My prized 2 Pokemon on my pearl is a Shining Gyarados and a Shining Espeon (both not hacked).
