RE: y is torterra lvl x so.... The reason why torterra level x is never played is because it is slow. Sure, the concept is great, but a stage 3 with a 4 energy cost and a 4 retreat it cannot last a minute in a format full of lucarios and blisseys. That's the sad reality of pokemon.

As Lou said: Each type has its own kind of strategy. Fire types tend to enjoy discarding energies, so a firestarter works well with that. Not many other types discard energies as much as fire, however, electric does quite often now.

Right now, the level X's in the set are gardevoir lv.x and honchkrow lv.x. Garchomp level x might be a secret rare card in the set. I knew this was going to happen because honchkrow was on the pack cover and gardevoir comes off of the same evo line as gallade.

I really like the legendary birds, tangrowth, togekiss, and the fossils!

shizurow is the level x dude. He is great at making the pokemon come out of the card with a dynamic pose.

Yes. I definitely thing cresselia decks should use a lot of pluspower, because that would allow it to grab the basics right off the bat.
