I'll try fitting in heavy balls, the reason I didn't was that the discard requirement for Ultra Ball is actually a positive because you can discard energy easily with it , especially if you have a letter in hand. But it might be worth including one or two in addition for consistency.
I've been testing this deck in TCGO for the past few days and it's been surprisingly good because it hits BuzzRoc for 2 weaknesses, and can pull off wins against many GX based decks because it trades prizes very efficiently.
I've tried Sophocles/psychic's third eye and it's a less consistent...

What about using Lucario and (any) garchomp as a control deck, with the goal of getting 2-3 Lucarios out at once and using the garchomp only as a finisher / for enabling the searches? Use Resource Management oranguru and play it like a Sylveon deck.
This might be better in Expanded. And you...
The idea is to maxies out a rampardos by turn 2 and either put 1 energy to KO zoroarks if the opponent has them or use elixirs to try and take ohko's on basic EX/GX's with the second attack (which auto KOs basics)
Other ideas would be Shining Mew, use Legendary Guidance to put a strong and a counter onto Rampardos , and then sac the Mew
EDIT: And maybe Mew EX , so you can use Rampardos' attacks multiple times without maxie'ing every time. Though with this route you forfeit the ability to use Strong...
Does anyone else think this tech has potential in expanded? In either a dedicated deck or as a one-of in Lycanroc and Buzzwole decks as an alternative to Gallade?
The first attack does 120 to any evolved pokemon for 1 [F] which one-shots a Zoroark GX out of nowhere. And the second move...
I think the Chomp deck is the strongest theme deck in the history of the game. Unless a good Fairy one comes out later it will be the BDIF of TCGO theme format, and also Chomp/Luke will be the most common budget deck among new players because 2 copies of this is almost the whole deck sans Lele
off hand I just thought of Reshiram from Shining Legends, which could work in a Golisopod deck once the f/w/g unit energy comes out as a mirror match or metal counter
I won a league cup with Buzzwole/Garbodor 2 weeks ago. However I did only face one Zoroark deck (my matchups were: Quad Sylveon, Decidueye/zoroark, 2 Buzz/Lycs and one GoliGarb)
