usually ads grant the website a little bit of money if they are displayed on the website, and they get a bonus, like 50 cents when someone clicks on them

@The Last Shaymin in many cases this is because they know which ads to send you. If you look at stuff on Amazon then stuff like that will be on ads on other websites.

If sites put advertising out of the way then advertisers won't want to be displayed on the site; it's a two-way street. Advertisers want people to see their ads, and if a site pushes all their ads to the bottom of the page, no advertisers will use the site.
